1. 
• Chop (V): to cut something into pieces with an axe , knife or other sharp instrument. ចិញ្ច្រាំ
• Example:She is chopping an onion. គាត់កំពុងចិញ្ច្រាំខ្ទឹមបារាំង។

• Slice (V): to cut something into thin, flat pieces. ហាន់ជាបន្ទះៗ
• Example:She is slicing the carrot thinly. គាត់កំពុងហាន់ការ៉ុតជាបន្ទះស្តើងៗ

• Dice (V): to cut food into small squares .កាត់ជាដុំជ្រុងតួចៗ
• Example:She is dicing the radish. គាត់កំពុងកាត់ឆៃថាវជាដុំជ្រុងតូចៗ។

• Carve (V): to make something by cutting into especially wood or stone, or to cut into the surface of stone, wood, etc. .ជារជាបន្ទះៗ

• Sift(V): to put flour, sugar, etc. through a sieve (= wire net shaped like a bowl) to break up large pieces. ច្រោះ
